Teprve v 90. letech začala být nykturie (noční močení) uznávaná za samostatnou klinickou jednotku, zatímco dříve byla klasifikována pouze jako jeden z mnoha příznaků onemocnění dolních močových cest. Nykturie se vyskytuje ve všech věkových skupinách, ale nejčastěji jsou nykturii postiženy starší osoby. Nykturie postihuje více než 50 % populace starší 50 let. |

Bei waagerechter Körperlagerung im Schlaf muss das rechte Herz das tagsüber bestehende Gefälle zu den Beinen nicht mehr überwinden und fördert wieder mehr der tagsüber eingelagerten Flüssigkeit, so dass Ödeme der Beine nachts stärker ausgetrieben werden. * Entzündung des unteren Harntrakts. * relative Einengung (Obstruktion) der Harnwege abwärts der Harnblase, bei älteren Männern oft durch gutartige Vergrößerung der Vorsteherdrüse mit erheblicher Restharnbildung. Der Harndrang tritt insbesondere im Liegen auf. |
