has glossjpn: 供物(くもつ)とは、宗教儀礼として神仏や先祖、あるいは故人など、信仰・崇拝を目的に、霊前に捧げる供え物をさす。教義によりさまざまな供え物があるが、神道では米や飯、酒などのほか玉串、青果物、生魚、干物、菓子類の飲食物等。正月には、鏡餅を供える。仏教では神道同様の供え物のほかに生花なども供える。
