has gloss	eng: The Israeli Planning Directorate is the central body in the Israel Defense Forces' General Staff which deals with strategic planning, the building of military forces, and military organization. It also serves as a planning body for the Ministry of Defense, and represents the IDF in various related fields to the Minister of Defense. It consists of the Planning Division, the Strategic Planning and External Relations Division, the Centre for Systems Analysis, and the Infrastructure and Organization Division. It is currently headed by Aluf Amir Eshel.

has gloss	heb: אגף התכנון (אג"ת) בצה"ל הינו הגוף המרכזי במטה הכללי העוסק בתכנון אסטרטגי, בניין הכוח הצבאי, ארגון הצבא ומדיניות החוץ של צה"ל. האגף הוקם עם הקמת צה"ל במאי 1948, ביזמת דוד בן-גוריון ובראשו הועמד יוחנן רטנר. תפקיד האגף היה להוציא את פקודת המבנה של צה"ל, שהגדירה את מבנה הצבא וארגונו. כעבור שנה הוקטן האגף והפך למחלקת התכנון באג"ם‏‏ . בנובמבר 1973 הוקם האגף מחדש.
