The first model was the Gatto Spider Spiaggia, born from experience modifying "deserter" American Dune Buggy. Besides the owner, another eminent figure of the company was Domenico Lombardi, a young technician who followed the development of all models produced by the company. Its headquarters were in Via Tiburtina and products ranged from dune buggies to off-road and later sports cars and aesthetic and mechanical tuning of Volkswagen Beetles.

Il primo modello prodotto fu la Gatto Spider Spiaggia, nata nel 1968 in un laboratorio artigianale sito in Montefiascone (VT) modificando una dune buggy acquistata dopo un viaggio negli USA.
