has gloss	eng: Qubic is a ground-based project of observational cosmology dedicated to measuring the Cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization anisotropies. Qubic (Q&U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology) is an international collaboration between France, Italy, U.K. and U.S.A., that results from the merging of the BRAIN and MBI collaborations. The Qubic instrument is based on bolometric interferometry, a novel technology that is a promising alternative to direct imaging. The collaboration plans to install a first module of the final instrument at the Antarctica Concordia Station in 2011.

Le détecteur de Qubic (acronyme de Q&U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology) sappuie sur le nouveau concept instrumental quest linterférométrie bolométrique. Qubic est une collaboration internationale entre la France, lItalie, le Royaume-Uni et les Etats-Unis, qui résulte de la fusion de deux projets antérieurs similaires (BRAIN et MBI). Il est actuellement prévu par la collaboration qu'un premier module du détecteur soit déployé sur la base antarctique Concordia courant 2011.
