has gloss	eng: "Real Gone Kid" is the first song released as a single from the album When the World Knows Your Name by the Scottish rock band Deacon Blue. It was their first top ten hit single, reaching #8 in the UK Singles Chart . Ricky Ross wrote the song about a performance he saw of ex-Lone Justice singer Maria McKee on stage. Deacon Blue had toured with Lone Justice for a time as the opening band.
