has gloss	eng: The Pharmaceutical Association of Israel was formed in 1948, after the establishment of the State of Israel, having been formally known (since 1920) as The Internationally Licensed Pharmacists Association of the Land of Israel. The Articles of Association stipulate the promotion and support of pharmacy and pharmacists in Israel, irrespective of race,religion or origin. Comprising all the private community pharmacist pharmacy owners in Israel, there is a membership of some 500 full members and another 800 pharmacists who are associates. The Association provides courses in Continuing Education held throughout the year, holds congresses and workshops. A computer software system as well as the supply of reduced rates for the purchase of regular insurance, life insurance and nursing care , professional books, holidays, pharmacy equipment etc are provided.
