It had been a family business for over fifty years, until it was taken over in 1999 by the Stagecoach Group, who retained Stephen Van Galder as president, under the Coach USA banner. They operate school buses, coach charters, excursions, daily airport transfers and a regular service to downtown Chicago. In September, 2009, they started double-decker bus service on the route between Madison and downtown Chicago.
