Information
has glosseng: The Wasp T12 Speechtool is a fictional mobile phone created to publicise the UK Channel 4 sitcom Nathan Barley. Advertisements for the Wasp T12 appeared on bus shelters and billboards in February 2005, with only the Channel 4 logo on the number 4 of the keypad, and the presence of the Nathan Barley character from the sitcom, as indicators that it was not in fact a real advertisement. Features of the phone claimed in the advert included full fidelity vox phoning, voice authority enhancement, TV-cast hijack capability, text insult dictionary, foldout MP3 decks and an oversized number 5 button, as this is supposedly the most commonly occurring number (in the sitcom).
