has gloss	eng: Whiteside Marsh is located in Novato, California north of San Francisco on the site of the former Hamilton Air Force base, adjacent to the historic hangars. It was the original homestead of Peter Whiteside, prior to the establishment of Hamilton AFB. It is currently the habitat of native frog species that is identifiable by distinctive red markings on the legs (Rana draytonii).
