Hún er botnfiskur líkt og aðrir flatfiskar og lifir helst á ýmiskonar smádýrum og smáfiskum. Langlúran þykir afbragðs matfiskur og hefur afli á Íslandsmiðum verið á bilinu eitt til tvö þúsund tonn undanfarin ár. |
