has gloss	deu: Das Autopsieprinzip oder Autopsieverfahren (kurz Autopsie) im Bibliothekswesen und der Dokumentation ist die Forderung, die einzelnen Dokumente wie Bücher, Aufsätze und Artikel anhand vorliegender Originale zu erfassen und nicht aus Vorlagen zweiter Hand. Dies verringert die Anzahl fehlerhafter Übernahmen. Eine Autopsie ist in mehreren bibliothekarischen Regelwerken vorgeschrieben. Die Deutsche Nationalbibliothek verwendet das Prinzip.
