| has gloss | fra: La Bibliothèque Gabrielle-Roy est lune des vingt-cinq bibliothèques publiques qui forment le Réseau des bibliothèques de la Ville de Québec. Elle est située dans le quartier de Saint-Roch, rue Saint-Joseph Est, au cœur du centre-ville dans larrondissement de La Cité. Elle porte le nom de lécrivaine francophone Gabrielle Roy, auteure du roman Bonheur doccasion. Il sagit de la principale bibliothèque du réseau. Elle a été construite en 1983, dans une des premières étapes pour revitaliser le quartier Saint-Roch alors passablement négligé. Son histoire est fortement liée à celle de lInstitut canadien de Québec, qui organisa la première bibliothèque publique de Québec au XIX siècle. |
