has gloss	eng: An air burst is the detonation of an explosive device such as an anti-personnel artillery shell or a nuclear weapon in the air instead of on contact with the ground or target or a delayed armor piercing explosion. Aerial bursts may also arise from the explosion, above the ground, of incoming self-detonating meteoroids as some postulate happened in the Tunguska event.

has gloss	jpn: 曳火（えいか）とは、広く行われる砲撃形式の一つで、時限信管や近接信管の働きにより砲弾が空中炸裂し、主に歩兵などの非装甲目標に大きな損害を与え制圧することを目的とする。曳火砲撃、曳火射撃などととも呼ばれる。現在では榴弾を使用するが、かつてはこの曳火砲撃専用の榴散弾という砲弾が存在した。曳下と表記される事もある。
