Bij de tewaterlating was het de grootste tanker ter wereld met de zusterschepen Prairial, Bellamya en Pierre Guillaumat. De later gebouwde Seawise Giant had een iets groter draagvermogen en wordt daarmee beschouwd als het grootste schip ooit, hoewel de vier schepen uit de Batillus-klasse een grotere bruto-tonnenmaat hadden. |
