has gloss	eng: Latvian passports are issued to citizens of Latvia to facilitate international travel if needed, and are obligatory when a person turns 16. Passport is valid for 5 years (if citizen is older than 60 years, then valid for 10 years). For traveling inside the European Union, Latvian citizens can use their ID card (can'tbe used in airlines). Non-citizen passports, and refugee travel documents (in a passport-like format), are also issued.
