has gloss	eng: Mike DeRocco, Niskayuna High School Class of 2006, was the former New York State record holder in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle. He held the 50 freestyle for one year, until it was broken by Adam Powell of John Jay High School in 2007. His 100 freestyle record is still the New York State record, but he no longer holds the Federation of New York record. The Federation includes the far north of the state, the Bufalo area and the New York City area. His record was broken by Jack Wagner of the Trinity School in New York City. He currently attends school at University of Tennessee, where he came in 16th place in the 50 freestyle, and 11th place in the 100 butterfly.
