has gloss	zho: 张承志（1948年－），原籍山东济南，1948年在北京出生，回族，中国当代著名作家。红卫兵时期就讀清华附中高中，1966年5月29日晚上，張承志與駱小海、卜大華、鄺桃生、王銘、張曉賓、宮小吉、陶正、高洪旭、宋柏林、袁東平等十七名學生聚在北京西郊圓明園遺址開會。與會中決定成立紅衛兵的組織。而紅衛兵這個名字即取自於張承志的筆名“紅衛士”。1968年在內蒙古锡林郭勒盟烏珠穆沁插隊當牧民。1972年就讀北京大学历史系。1978年考入中国社会科学院研究生院民族历史语言系，1981年获民族历史语言系硕士学位。畢業後著手进行北方民族史研究工作。
