has gloss	deu: Die ringöffnende Polymerisation ist eine spezielle Form der Polymerisation. Durch sie werden zum Beispiel Lactame in Polylactame umgewandelt. Das wohl bekannteste Beispiel hierfür ist die von Prof. Dr. Paul Schlack 1938 entdeckte Polymerisierbarkeit des Caprolactams durch Ringöffnung. Das Endprodukt Polyamid 6 wurde weltweit unter dem Handelsnamen Perlon bekannt.
